Square Skateboard Grinding Rails

This new split back grinding rail is named "Split Back" because that's exactly what it is. We designed this rail as a two-piece (2 - 3-foot lengths) rail, cut in the center for compact shipping and storage purposes. Please note that this rail is designed for the younger/lighter skateboarders that don't weigh over 130 lbs. It can hold a larger person, but we prefer to keep the riders under this weight to ensure the rail stays pristine. This is designed to be a "lighter duty" grinding rail that will easily fit into the trunk of a car for transport wherever you go.

This rail is unique in a few different ways. The ends are rounded for smoother mounting and dismounting, which is significantly better for beginning boarders. It is also adjustable in height, from 13.5 to 18.5 inches, in 1 inch increments, for a total of 6 different heights. This rail is a 2" square tube, with a piece that slides into each piece in the middle to hold the "split" solid for skateboarding.

As stated above, this rail is designed the way it is primarily to fit into a car and be transported from location to location, which is much more difficult with our 7 foot round rail, and 7 foot 6 inch square rails. These other two rails are made of a single piece of steel and able to support much more weight, so are much more heavy duty in design.

Our split back square grinding rail is designed to have a solid grinding surface made from 2 inch square grinding tube, with an insert in the middle at the split.

This grind rail is the only rail powder coated in the "hi impact yellow" for a weatherproof finish. The powder coat also provides a very smooth grinding surface.

All of our grinding rails are constructed with high yield, high tensile strength steel and welded 360 degrees at each joint.
