Some Tips On Caring For Your Grinding Rail

NEVER repaint the grinding surface of the rail. Regular paint will inhibit the ability to grind and slow it down. Our rails have a BAKED ON POWDER COATING that keeps the slide free from binding.

The rails (as are all of our products) are portable so try to keep them indoors when not in use. Once the baked on coating is worn off, the grinding surface will rust when allowed to get wet. If it does rust, use a fine steel wool or emery cloth to take it off and leave it smooth as silk.

For a super-fast grind, put a light coating of silicon on the grinding surface. This will also help to protect the rail from further rusting.
